become lawyers, accountants and teachers -- anything but an artist.
Not
Scott Medlock.
The world-renowned artist, who specializes in sports-related paintings
and who has worked with the biggest names in golf -- from Arnold Palmer
and Jack Nicklaus to Davis Love III and Fred Couples -- got into art
almost by accident. "I
was ready to graduate from Cal State Northridge and to apply for medical
school but my mother said she couldn't believe I was going to
